Route Description
The MTB Trail starts at the HadedaCamp which is situated next to the HennopsRiver. As soon as the trail starts the river is crossed by cable car which immediately gets the adrenaline going. The first section of the track follows farm roads on a working cattle farm. The second section follows jeep tracks and is more challenging. In this section are the dongas where riders can have fun crossing obstacles of various difficulty. The final section runs through grass fields and finish with single track next to the river. The distance of the trail is 15 km with various options for the not so fit to escape home. The trail is well marked and riders will not get lost. The cost is R45.00 / adult and R 25.00 / person under 12. This also gives you access to HennopsPicnicSpot where swimming pools and braai facilities are available. Please note that this is a multiuse facility comprising hikers, mtb, active farming and 4wd vehicles so please consider everybody.
Location
The Hennops Mountain Bike Trail is situated west of the R511, between the N14 (Krugersdorp highway) and R104 (Church street ext) 4 way stop at the Hennops Picnic Spot and Hiking Trail. The GPS coordinates for the turnoff from the R511 is (25°47'53.02"S 27°59'29.88"E).

Entrance Fees
Entrance to the Hennops Picnic Spot is R45 per adult and R25 for children under 12 years.
What We Offer
From Hennops Picnic Spot you can use the MTB trail and Hennops Hiking Trails (KrokodilBerg 11km / Zebra 6km). There is currently no shop available at Hennops Picnic Spot, so please bring everything you need for the day.
Safe Parking
Do not leave any vehicle unattended in Hennops Picnic Spot. Safe parking is available at Hadeda Camp for early weekend and all weekday customers.
Showers
Showers are available at Hennops Picnic Spot as well as Hadeda Camp.
Air
Air is available at Hadeda Camp on request.
